My Client is a leading provider of integratedavionics, engines, systems and service solutions for aircraftmanufacturers, airlines, business and general aviation, militaryspace and airport operations. The Aerospace Yeovil site includesIntegrated Supply Chain operations and Engineering & Technologyas well as other support functions. It specialises in severalproduct lines including: Environmental Control Systems, LifeSupport Systems, Hydraulics Systems and Control & DataSystems.We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Finance Analystto work on site at their offices in Yeovil.Reporting to the YeovilISC Finance Lead, the Yeovil ISC Finance Analyst will assist inthedevelopment of a strategic business partnership with the YeovilISC Site Leadership Team.This role will work with the Yeovil ISCFinance Lead to improve product margins throughconstant review andanalysis of potential cost reduction initiatives covering boththemanufacturing and procurement environment. The role will workwith the ISC Finance Lead to achieve alignment across sitefunctions including Integrated Supply Chain, Engineering, HR andthe business in the achievement of targets and goals. It willprovide data and analyses that will assist in the drive to reducesite inventory and working capital improvements, by working withSIOP, Logistics and Procurement.The role will support theimplementation of a real time data dashboard at the Yeovilsite,covering key ISC metrics.Responsibilities will include:-• Towork with the Yeovil Site ISC Leadership Team to ensure that annualoperating plansand forecasts are robust and fully aligned with SiteSIOP process and understood by thelocal ISC Team.• To investigateand present P&L variances to monthly financial results asprovided by thesupporting Regional Finance Team (RFC).• Providevalue-added support to the site HOS process, including delegatedattendance atall daily Tier 3 meetings as required.• To assist inthe annual standard cost revision exercise, inventory-re-valuationandstandard maintenance.• To review and interpret analyses ofoverhead burden, production settlement, purchaseprice and scrapvariances as prepared by the supporting Regional FinanceTeam(RFC).• To provide relevant information necessary to supportthe site SIOP process.• To present functional cost information asprepared by the supporting Regional FinanceTeam (RFC).• Toimplement an operating system that ties and links this informationwith YeovilISC business routines including the site cost council.•To work with the Yeovil ISC Finance Lead to establish an efficientand robust workingoperating system with the relevant RegionalFinance Team (RFC).The successful Applicant should have/be ableto:-•Proven experience and financial skills in analysis, planning,forecasting and accounting.• Strong communication skills coveringboth document preparation and verbal presentation.• Excellentanalytical skills.• Results oriented and a self starter.
