FAIR’s Engineer (Boeing FAIRS) – Nottingham

£35 Ltd company/Umbrella (Outside IR35)

The FAIR’s engineer will be responsible for the following:

You will be required using Visual fair to create and compile the FAIR’s.
Compiling the FAIR will include gathering the right information for each part including material certificates, CMM reports, Bill of Materials and SOPs.
You will be required to check all FAIRS and lease with the client before getting the final sign off.
The other part of the role will be inspection-based activities including solving problems with the FAIR’s with basic route cause analysis.
Carrying out dimensional inspection, interrogating data and drawings to make sure they are correct and flagging up any major issues.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:

FAIRs experience in the aerospace industry – specifically Boeing.
Root cause analysis, problem solving and dimensional inspection experience.
AS9100 experience.
