The Job Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Agronomist to join their team in Essex. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and technically skilled Agronomist with a strong background in supporting arable clients with crop production, soil management, and precision agriculture. Providing expert advice to farmers and landowners to maximise yield and sustainability.

Location: Essex & cover surrounding counties

Salary Package:
£50,000 - £60,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities of the Agronomists Role:
Provide technical agronomic advice on crop nutrition, pest and disease control, and soil health.
Develop and implement tailored farm management strategies to optimise productivity.
Conduct field trials and analyse data to recommend best practices.
Stay updated on industry regulations, market trends, and new agricultural technologies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with growers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with environmental and agricultural legislation.

Candidate Skills and Experience:
Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Agronomist in the UK agricultural
BASIS and FACTS Certifications.
An Agronomist with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide practical recommendations throughout the growing season.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
