We are March……… the UKs leading provider of critical engineering services. Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager to join the infrastructure team based out of our offices in Uddingston.

The Electrical Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of electrical projects up to £10M throughout the central belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure all works are managed in accordance with our standard operating procedures and Health and Safety regulations.

Ensure all works are competed in line with the contract specification and drawings.

Prepare labour plans and update labour trackers with correct information

Review, verify, appoint, and manage specialist contractors in line with the contract documentation.

Attend regular approval meeting with Client interface.

Work with wider MEP team and site supervisors to ensure the works are on target and to update programs and weekly project reports for the client & sub-contractors.

Manage work from initial co-ordination to completion and final sign off after EoYD.

Ensure all RAMS are suitable and sufficient for all work scopes.

Ensure technical and quality compliance throughout the project.

Work closely with the commercial team to keep track of all budgets and feed into the month end reports.

Co-ordinate the procurement and resource planning within the requirements of the contract needs

Ensure appropriate record keeping in maintained and available for review by all.

Take responsibility for the successful project completion and formal handover in accordance with defined requirements outlined by the client or nominated client representatives.

Produce working programs and to amend an issue with weekly reports and including % completed against each task.

Skills and Experiences:

Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.

Ability to plan and organise their work effectively to meet changing environments and needs

Proven track record to the successful delivery of electrical and mechanical services related projects

Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and safe working practices

Demonstrable skills in dealing and working closely with internal and external customers and suppliers on complex and interrelated issues on an ongoing basis

IT skills required with specific reference to the Microsoft suite of packages

To be able to use Microsoft Project or ASTA to a basic standard as a minimum.

Specific Qualifications

Hold an electrical qualification to as an Electrician as a minimum.

Hold SMST or equivalent qualification
