Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become a Driver's Mate with our Newark based clients transport team on a temporary basis.What's on offer?Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 18:0011.50 per hour - paid weeklyImmediate starts availableWorking as a Driver's Mate, you will be responsible for:Map reading and/or satellite navigation, providing clear instructions for the driver to locate customer's properties using the best routeProviding exceptional customer serviceHeavy lifting and possible assembly of itemsAssisting with vehicle checks and cleanliness of vehicleRegularly review, adjust, and secure the load to ensure safety whilst using equipment provided (i.e., straps and sack barrows)To carry out the delivery and collection of tote boxes and products from retail storesOther general labouring/assisting tasksTo be successful
in this role you will be able to work as part of a team, have good communication skills, and; ideally have previous experience in the same or similar manual handling role.Please Note
