Specific Responsibilities As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will be an integral part of our cybersecurity team, supporting various initiatives to enhance our security posture. This internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, practical experience, and exposure to various technologies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Monitoring and Analysis: Assist in monitoring security alerts, logs, and managing incidents. Analyse telemetry to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Vulnerability Management: Collaborate in vulnerability assessment and remediation efforts. Work with stakeholders to prioritise and mitigate vulnerabilities. Security Processes: Contribute to our security processes, identifying potential improvements and work with wider functions to improve the overall posture of the business. Security Tools: Gain hands-on experience with various defensive security tools and technologies used in the industry. Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including data collection, analysis, and documentation. Research and Development: Assist with special projects that will improve the security of the wider business. Typical Education and/or Experience Requirements Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in a cyber-security related field. Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to build a career in the field. An understanding of security fundamentals. An understanding of core enterprise technologies such as Active directory, Linux etc. Understanding of adversarial attack patterns, vulnerabilities and TTPs. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Desirable Experience: Experience with Splunk Enterprise. Experience with automation/scripting. Hands on experience with security challenges, capture the flag’s etc. Relocation: This position does not offer relocation.
