The Role:

This role plays a part in leading new contracting opportunities and driving complex proposals and ongoing programs for a full lifecycle contract management. You will be responsible for managing stakeholder expectation and leading contract standards for the business, from a requirements perspective keeping to specific manufacturing regulations. You will be exposed to this impressive Aerospace company and lead standards to meet expectation where it is needed.

Responsibilities of the role:

Manage full contract lifecycle from analysis to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and market compliance
Lead proposal development and balance pricing, legal, and business risks
Ensure contracts comply with FAR, DFARS, and internal policies across all stages
Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and external clients to align contract terms to meet targets
Provide strategic leadership in pricing, risk management, and contract performance evaluation.Skills required:

Previous experience in a similar position focusing on contract and commercial managing
Strong behavioural aspects focusing on strategic leadership and leading commercial awareness
Ability to keep to company and customer standards within audit and to develop compliance for contract specifications, such as internal FARS and DFARS
Desirable but not essential experience focusing on contract process improvements and proposal workflows, or risk assessment practices
Stakeholder management and the ability to navigate customer requirements and manage expectation is a strong trait to have
