Have experience in composites? Looking for a new challenge? My client is looking for a Project Engineer who will manage and support on design & FEA projects form enquiries through to delivery for Prototype and Serial projects, providing support to the project organisation, technical support, and process documentation to ensure delivery requirements are met and maintained.
Responsibilities:

  • Good understanding of composites materials to be able to provide customer solutions with respect of Design and FEA.
  • Able to read drawings and produce them.
  • Able to process material testing and report generating on test program.
  • Support project managers on Design and FEA and presentation to the customer.
  • Support Project manager on engineering side of the projects.
  • Learn and grow into responsibilities on customer projects.
  • Support senior management on acquisition & management of projects and support as point of contact for communications with customers.
  • Support on the administration on the projects involved through the existing ERP-system.
    Additional Requirements:
  • Instron – material Testing experience
  • MRP / ERP experience – Progress Plus experience preferable.
  • Read and understand technical drawings.
  • Support project management on engineering projects where possible.
    Experience Required:
  • Master’s or PhD degree in engineering a must.
  • 5 years of experience in composites Design
  • CAD Package of CATIA
  • Confident and influential communicator at subordinate and peer level.
  • Good operational and organisational skills.
  • Sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations and the stress associated with them.
  • Experience in aerospace (desirable)
