Composite Laminator

Our client operates from their state-of-the-art facility in the Wiirral, but they also have locations all over the UK and worldwide. Specialising in the design and manufacture components to the aerospace industry.

Desired requirements:

  • Experience in Laminating across a broad range of products, although aerospace is an advantage.

  • Carrying out work in adherence to technical drawings, internal and external specifications and laminating instructions as appropriate ensuring accuracy and process documentation.

  • Working closely with manufacturing engineering to support the development of standard work instructions and taking part in design for manufacture workshops for new product introduction.

  • Identifying, defining and supporting the introduction of continuous improvement activities in the area of trimming and assembly.

  • A practical level qualification e.g. an NVQ, Apprenticeship in manufacturing, engineering or mechanical.

  • Should be confident reading and understanding engineering drawings.

  • Can follow written and verbal instructions
