Salary:£42,000 - £45,000 per annum


About the Company

A leading manufacturer of printed flexible packaging is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee BRC and ISO accreditations and maintain the Quality Management System. The company specialises in extrusion, printing, and conversion for food and non-food sectors.


The Role

As Compliance Manager, you will ensure compliance with industry standards, lead audits and inspections, and drive continuous improvement in quality and compliance. You will manage internal audits, supplier approvals, and site policies, while also overseeing the HARA plan and crisis management exercises. The role includes managing one direct report.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain BRC and ISO accreditations and ensure full compliance.
  • Lead internal and external audits, addressing non-conformances.
  • Manage and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Oversee HARA compliance and ensure product safety.
  • Monitor quality KPIs and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Supervise supplier approvals, calibration schedules, and pest control.
  • Drive a quality-focused culture and support continuous improvement initiatives.


Skills & Experience Required

  • Experience in quality management and compliance within manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of BRC, ISO 9001, and auditing processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
