The Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Officer to join our dynamic team, taking ownership of commercial activities across our business operations. This role reports directly to the Business Development and Commercial Director, working closely with Operational, Business Development and Business Support Partner Teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commercial strategy development and execution across all business areas
  • Support contract negotiations, from bid to completion
  • Develop and maintain key customer and supplier relationships
  • Ensure commercial governance and risk management compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes
  • Support business growth initiatives and strategic planning
  • Champion value-maximising commercial solutions for asset management
  • Support our EDI initiatives through inclusive commercial practices
  • Contribute to CSR activities and sustainable strategies

The Ideal Candidate will have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent contract negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Proven commercial management experience in relevant sectors
  • Experience in bid management and pricing strategies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong understanding of government and commercial frameworks (desirable)
