So, what's your possible?Salary: £70,000 - £80,000Final salary will be dependent on the length and relevance of the candidate's skills and experiences.Opportunity:This is more than just a job; it's a mission.The Senior Commercial Manager will be responsible for commercial and contracts management activities on specific multi-million pound contracts supporting NGUK's Defence & National Security customers, as well as supporting and guiding the wider Commercial team and business stakeholders on other existing contracts and opportunities for programmes spanning multiple sectors, including those within Cyber, Maritime and Aerospace."Delivering world-class commercial solutions for our customers in such a dynamic industry is what makes working at NG so exciting and fulfilling" Jonathan Hughes, Head of Contracts, NGUK.Responsibilities:Provide commercial oversight, governance and leadership for key business segments, working closely with the business' senior leadership team, including Head of Contracts, to understand, develop and agree commercial strategies for the business' operating units and key programmes.Deputise for the Head of Contracts where necessary to support and drive delivery of key business objectives, building and managing key commercial relationships with our customers, partners and internal stakeholders.Commercial point of contact for key multi-million pound contracts, both pre and post signature, predominantly supporting NG's Defence & National Security customers, including influencing key stakeholders on various Commercial topicsPrepare and negotiate various forms of contracts terms, scope and pricing, recognising the risk/reward trade-off. Work closely with the relevant senior leadership team stakeholders, Programme Managers, Business Development Managers, Finance Team and Supply Chain representatives to develop, agree and deliver commercially sound customer and business solutions.Support the wider Commercial team with high value, complexity and strategically significant proposals, negotiations and challenges.Line management of a team of Commercial Officers of various levels, with a focus on ongoing development, growth and progression of the individuals and the business' commercial capability.Benefits:We can offer you a range of flexible and hybrid working options to suit you, including optional compressed working schedule with every other Friday off.
