Location: Mobile (Nottingham to Newcastle)
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Hours: 42.5 hours per week

At NPP, we’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected company that specialises in critical infrastructure, process, and digital services. They have secured long-term contracts across various sectors, including food & drink, utilities, and high-security industries such as defence, aerospace, and nuclear.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking team working on a prestigious prison contract, carrying out installations, maintenance, and repairs to ensure safety and efficiency at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial gas systems

  • Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions to minimise downtime

  • Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards

  • Complete small installation works as required

  • Maintain detailed records of all work completed

  • Work closely with a team of engineers and liaise with sub-contractors when necessary

  • Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota for emergency repairs

  • Escalate any urgent issues to the Supervisor or Contract Manager

    Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in commercial gas maintenance and repairs

  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to use SMART devices and complete electronic documentation

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • Commercial Gas qualifications (essential)

  • Previous experience in a similar role working on planned and reactive maintenance
