CNC Turner 

Location: Near Southend-on-Sea
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 6:45am – 4:30pm (37 hours per week)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

We’re looking for an experienced CNC Turner to join a well-established aerospace engineering business based near Southend-on-Sea. This is a hands-on role working on complex, low-batch components in a clean, modern workshop. If you're confident using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls and want a stable role in a forward-thinking company, this could be the ideal next step.

CNC Turner Benefits

£30,000 - £34,000 basic salary

37-hour working week (4 day week, Monday to Thursday)

CNC Turner Responsibilities

Set and operate fixed head or sliding head CNC turning machines

Use Fanuc and Seiki controls to produce precision aerospace parts

Work across various materials including stainless steel, aluminium, and Inconel

Read and interpret engineering drawings to set tooling and offsets

Perform self-inspection using handheld gauges

Occasionally work with twin turret or twin spindle machines (training can be provided)

CNC Turner Profile

Proven CNC turning and setting experience in a manufacturing environment

Confident using Fanuc or Heidenhain controls

Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight aerospace tolerances

Practical mindset with attention to detail

Bar feed or twin spindle experience would be a bonus

Own transport preferred due to location
