CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator
COMPANY DESCRIPTION, PROFILE AND SCOPE OF ROLE
Our client is a world class, Global Manufacturer, providing high quality precision components to multiple sectors including aerospace and automotive. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Turner Programmer / Setter Operator (Early/Late Shift rotation) The ideal candidate will have Fanuc programming experience, and Experience using Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head machines.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • CNC Turning / Machine Programming / Setting and Operating
  • Program primarily using Fanuc
  • Manufacturing components to tight tolerances
  • Operating Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines
  • Setting and operating 5 axis machines
  • Using Live Tooling for Milled features
  • Interpreting and working to Engineering drawings
    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
    ESSENTIAL
  • Time served apprenticeship in CNC Turning
  • Demonstrable post apprenticeship experience in a similar CNC turning and Programming / Setting and Operating role
  • Experience programming and setting twin spindle lathes
  • Ability to read and program using Fanuc
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings
    DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL
    Able to use FeatureCam software / HNC, HND or similar / Experience setting and operating 5-axis machines / Ability to program and set Twin-Spindle or Twin-Head Machines / Experience using live tooling for milled features
    DETAILS OF PACKAGE
    Circa £41,952 PA + Overtime + Competitive benefits (37 Hour week): Earlies: 06.05-14.35 (Mon-Thurs) 06.05-11.05 (Fri) / Lates: 14.25-22.55 (Mon-Thurs) 10.55-15.55 (Fri)29 days holiday + Bank holidays / Health Care / Counselling Support / Competitive Pension / Onsite parking / Life Assurance
