CNC Turner (Nights)

Salary: £25.00 per hour (including 33% shift uplift on £19.00 basic)
Location: Newbury, West Berkshire
Hours: Monday–Thursday, 19:00–07:00 (Night Shift – 4 nights per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a world-class motorsport OEM manufacturer in Newbury. With a full order book and continued investment in the latest technology, the company is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join their busy night shift team.
As a CNC Turner, you'll be producing precision components for high-performance applications with minimal supervision, using top-end CNC lathes and Fanuc controls.

CNC Turner Benefits:

CNC Turner Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC lathes (Okuma with Fanuc controls)

Editing programs at the machine

Machining to tight tolerances for motorsport and aerospace applications

Performing self-inspection using verniers, micrometers, and calipers

Supporting a clean and efficient machining cell during night operations

CNC Turner Requirements:

Proven experience setting, operating, and editing CNC turning programs (Fanuc)

Background in aerospace, motorsport, or precision subcontract machining

Skilled in using self-inspection tools to verify part conformance

Experience with Vericut (desirable but not essential)

Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced night shift environment
