AMLR are working in partnership with a Derbyshire based precision manufacturing company which produces High end fabricated and machined components for the Aerospace industry and MOD sector. The company is a small well-established company within the midlands with a solid order book and steady growth. The successful candidates will be joining a really well-run company that has a huge emphasis on team work and ensuring employee’s enjoy there work. This position will suite individuals that are looking for a position that will allow them to be valued and become part of a family environment.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the CNC Turner role:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Operate and set various CNC Turning machines
• Operate twin turret and multi spindle machining centres
• Ensure your work station is kept clean and tidy
• Ability to complete basic inspection of parts

Qualifications and Skills are required for the CNC Turner role
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience CNC operating turning machines
• Experience of operating 2/3 axis CNC lathes
• Experience of using Fanuc control panels
• Experience of working with machined and fabricated parts of various sizes
• Able to work on your own initiative is essential
• Working to tight tolerances (Microns)
• Working with various metals
• NVQ or City & Guilds in engineering

In addition to a competitive salary the successful CNC TURNER OPERATORS will be able to work overtime at a rate of 1.33 during the week and 1.5 at the weekends allowing candidates to maximise their earning potential during the constant busy periods our client currently works under.
