A CNC Programmer is requested to work in a leading manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and medical devices. As part of their continued growth, we are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join their team and work with cutting-edge Siemens-controlled Mills and Turners.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled CNC Programmer to join the team in a permanent contract. The successful candidate will work with Siemens-controlled CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming, setting, and operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Working hours: 37.5 hrs /week: Monday-Thursday 7am-3.30pm and Friday 7am-12.30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Program CNC milling and turning machines using Siemens controls based on technical drawings and specifications.
Set up, operate, and monitor CNC milling and turning machines to ensure accurate and efficient machining of parts.
Determine and select appropriate cutting tools, machine speeds, and feeds to optimise machining operations.
Perform inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, and CMM) to ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
Adhere to company safety policies and industry regulations to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.Qualifications:

Previous experience programming CNC mills and/or CNC turners using Siemens controls (828D)
Strong knowledge of CNC programming and setup.
Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM).
Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in the finished product.
