Location: Andover
Rate of Pay: £14.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 08:00 - 16:45; Friday, 08:00 - 15:30 (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Regularly available

Gi Pro are working with a leading manufacturer that pride themselves in delivering precision components to industries including Aerospace, Defence, and Oil & Gas. Due to ongoing growth, they're looking to expand the machine shop with experienced CNC Programmers who are ready to bring their skills to a collaborative and quality-driven team.

Role Overview:

Programme (online), set, and operate CNC lathes
Machine high-precision parts to tight tolerances, following technical drawings and work instructions
Understand job specifications, quality expectations, and inspection requirements prior to starting each task
Complete NCRs for any non-conforming components and support root cause analysis
Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all Health & Safety procedures
Communicate tooling needs and assist with equipment maintenance as needed
Collaborate with the wider team to support production goals and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking For:

Solid mechanical background with proven CNC turning experience
Familiarity with FANUC controllers and 2-axis lathes
Strong problem-solving and mathematical skills
Comfortable working with various materials, including exotic alloys
Ability to read engineering drawings and use hand tools for setup, deburring, and maintenance
