CNC Grinder (Nights or Weekends)

Location: Near Newbury, West Berkshire (15-minute drive / 30 minutes via public transport)

Salary:

Nights: Up to £52,500 (inclusive of 33% uplift)

Weekends: Up to £47,000 (estimated annual equivalent with uplift)

Shifts Available:

Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 19:00–07:00

Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 06:00–18:00

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performance engineering company supplying ultra-precision components to the automotive and motorsport industries. With state-of-the-art Studer grinding machines and an ultra-clean facility, this is a long-term role suited for CNC Grinders who take pride in their precision.

What’s On Offer:
Up to £52,500 per annum (shift dependant)

Relocation support – up to £2,000

CNC Grinder Duties:
Operating Studer CNC cylindrical grinders to manufacture tight-tolerance parts

Interpreting engineering drawings to produce high-spec metal components

Conducting precise self-inspections using micrometers, gauges, and verniers

Collaborating with engineers and machinists to maintain workflow

CNC Grinder Profile:
3+ years’ experience operating Studer or similar CNC cylindrical grinding machinery

Experience working to tight tolerances – ideally in motorsport, F1, or aerospace

Skilled in precision inspection and confident reading technical drawings

Comfortable working independently in a high-spec production environment
