    Job Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Draughtsman to join a dynamic technical team. You will play a vital role in supporting the commercial department with detailed technical drawings, models, and cost estimations. The successful CAD Draughtsman will use SolidWorks (or equivalent) to develop and improve both products and processes for internal and external projects. Your work will influence key customer relationships and directly contribute to business growth.

    As a CAD Draughtsman, you will collaborate closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate design specifications and competitive pricing. You will also have the opportunity to refine manufacturing workflows, adopt and introduce best practices, and liaise with suppliers for bespoke projects.

    Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in SolidWorks or other 3D CAD software.

  • Proven experience in a CAD Draughtsman or similar role within a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.

  • Effective multitasker with the ability to prioritise and deliver under pressure.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with various departments.

  • Familiarity with creating cost estimates and technical documentation.
