What will you be doing?
You'll be responsible for quality, cost and delivery performance for production procurement, ensuring the purchased parts and/or services are supplied/contracted on time to support the business requirements in line with business system. You'll also be required to support multiple UK sites with contracts.
You'll lead specific supplier relationships, manage the introduction of new suppliers with the support of the SQA team, assess and manage the supply risks with various functional areas identifying and implement countermeasures to mitigate or eliminate the risk of supply.
What will you need to know?
The ideal candidate possesses excellent negotiation, organisational, and communication skills, coupled with a commercially astute mindset to devise innovative solutions for business challenges. You will exhibit a positive can-do attitude alongside have Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with MS Office and ERP systems (Syteline preferred). You should be self-motivated and confident in decision-making within established business guidelines. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within and across functional teams is a key requirement.
