The Role:

So, what will you be doing as a Business Development Associate?

Manage the enquiry logging system, ensuring all enquiries are recorded and allocated to the appropriate department.
Assist with managing the company bid schedule and planning critical bid review stages (Gate 2, bid kick-off, and Gate 3).
Oversee the DocuSign process for bids and proposals.
Maintain and update the company CRM system with accurate customer and project information.
Support the business development team in preparing tender documents, proposals, quote packs, and reports.
Assist the Senior Director, Business Development, with compiling the order forecast and related reporting.
Provide regular reports and business data as required.

What are we looking for in our next Business Development Associate?

Previous experience in the Defence or Aerospace industry is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high standards of literacy and numeracy.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and Dynamics CRM.
Strong interpersonal skills, able to liaise and build effective relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
Experience working within a team-based, multi-disciplined environment.
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and driven with strong negotiation and diplomacy skills.
