For example, the Chinook and Apache helicopters, and the Poseidon and C-17 airplanes. Our support ranges from mission critical Logistics Information Services, next generation in-flight digital tools, to aircraft and operational modelling and simulation methodology. The Role Boeing Defence UK is looking for an Intern to join their Business Analysis(BA) team based in Bristol. The BA team is part of Boeing Defence UK’s Digital Services and Analytics function that was created in 2022 to accelerate Boeing Defence UK’s digital strategy and to support our digital programmes. As a Business Analyst, you’ll be working within an established team supporting a diverse customer base (internal & external) providing a range of services including: Requirements Definition, Business Process Improvement & Business Case Development Primary Responsibilities As part of your role, your duties and responsibilities will include: Problem Solving : Apply a logical and analytical approach, understand the as-is, identify business improvements, assess the feasibility of change, and communicate the benefits. Requirements elicitation and management; use appropriate capture techniques (such as, workshops, interviews) and apply recognised methodologies for documentation (such as User Stories, or User and System Requirements). Business process analysis ; apply recognised techniques for the capture of as-is and to-be process Delivery; operate within staged project environments through to agile software development, engage throughout the project lifecycle from initiation and requirements phases through to business readiness and implementation. Please note that the above list is not exhaustive and you’ll be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required. Essential Criteria / Experience Right to work in UK - We do not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Studying a relevant degree course Desirable Criteria / Experience Excellent written and oral communication skills. Be passionate and motivated. Good GCSE in Mathematics and English. Demonstrates an ability to pick up new technologies and to follow technical instructions, willing to learn new skills. Preferred degrees include: Business Management, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Science and Engineering.
