Key Responsibilities of the B2 Avionics - E7 Wedgetail Role:

  • Carry out modifications and maintenance in accordance with approved drawings and maintenance data, taking full accountability for the technical integrity of all work performed.
  • Provide regular updates on any issues affecting the work plan, including proposed solutions or recommendations where applicable.
  • Perform precise wiring terminations and testing, as well as the removal and installation of various shelves, panels, and equipment.
  • Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and regulatory requirements to support avionics system testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain the highest standards of tool control within the work area and ensure a safe and clean working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications for the B2 Avionics - E7 Wedgetail Position:

  • Completed an engineering apprenticeship, ideally in Aeronautical engineering or a military equivalent
  • Previous experience in aircraft modification and/or production
  • Excellent hand skills and attention to detail
  • Eligible to work and live in the UK, with the ability to obtain UK security clearance
  • Proficient knowledge of Avionics systems
  • Demonstrable reliability, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills
