Salary: £35K - £45K (Depending on Experience)
Location: Somerset (On-Site)

An established and respected industrial automation business based in the South West of England is seeking an Automation Engineer. The company specialises in robotics and automation for advanced manufacturing sectors, particularly aerospace. Known for solving complex engineering challenges, they deliver cutting-edge solutions to high-profile clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the streamlining of production processes
• Program PLCs and design + troubleshoot control systems
• Produce electrical schematics for automated machinery
• Work with various robotic systems for automation purposes
• Perform testing, commissioning, and on-site installation of automation systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and best practices

Skills & Experience Required:
• Hands-on PLC programming and industrial control systems experience
• Experience with electrical design, wiring schematics, and safety systems
• Direct experience with robotic systems
