Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Account Manager / Technical Sales Executive required to join a renowned manufacturer of measuring equipment, metrology, non-contact measuring / optical measuring equipment, gauging products, workshop tools, hardness testers, engineering hand tools and other products used in manufacturing and precision engineering. 

The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer will cover the West of the UK (This includes West Midlands, North West, Wales and South West). You can be based anywhere within the patch, but preferably West Midlands or surrounding areas.

We’re looking for a background selling industrial products/equipment, metrology, measuring instruments, industrial measurement equipment, precision tools, workholding, workshop tools, industrial product sales, machine tools / accessories, cutting tools, machining products, or technical sales experience with a background in CNC machining.

Role
Support the implementation of the Sales strategy
Selling measuring tools, metrology, engineering products, non contact measuring / optical measuring equipment, gauging products, workshop tools, hardness testers to End Users and via industrial distribution
Manage and support an existing customer base
Customer visits
Working from home covering the West of the UK (This includes West Midlands, North West, Wales and South West. You can be based anywhere within the patch, but preferably West Midlands or surrounding areas.
Selling into the precision engineering / manufacturing industry (including Aerospace, Automotive, Machine Tools, Machining, Defence, etc).
Manage own appointments with Buyers/Engineers of existing and prospective customers
Develop business relationships with certain Key accounts to maximise business
Identify and pursue new opportunities
Work alongside Specialists to develop technical customer quotations
Attend exhibitions
 
Requirements
Experience as an Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Executive similar external sales role
