  Join a leading manufacturer of high-performance printed circuit boards (PCB) serving blue-chip companies in defence, aerospace, security, and communications sectors. As an Applications Engineer you will play a crucial role in client-facing sales process, advising on the manufacturability of designs and suggesting improvements to enhance both efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  Day-to-day of the role:
  
  *Develop new opportunities and provide exceptional support to the current customer base.
  *Collaborate with design authorities to ensure best practices for PCB fabrication are met and the information supplied is suitable for manufacturing processes.
  *Generate detailed technical reports.
  *Support internal technology reviews, contributing with insights on customer technology roadmaps and industry trends.
  *Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Process Engineering teams.
  *Establish and implement strategies to improve and raise awareness of customer issues across all relevant areas of the company.
  
  Required Skills & Qualifications:
  
  
• Knowledge of materials used in PCB fabrication
  
• Experience in PCB fabrication and/or design is desirable.
  
• Logical thinking and reasoning skills.
  
• Strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
  
• Proficient in problem-solving.
  
• CAM experience in Engineering is an advantage.
  
• Understanding of industry compliance (IPC standards).
  
• Knowledge of materials used in PCB fabrication and their environmental impacts.
  
• Good presentation skills
