Algorithm Engineer – Defence/Aerospace

Join a specialist team developing advanced algorithms at the core of next-generationAutonomous Systems,Guided Weapons, andML-enabled defence technologies.
You’ll contribute to high-impact programmes across the full engineering lifecycle — from early-stage research and feasibility studies through to development, trials, and in-service enhancement. Focus areas includenavigation,guidance,tracking,sensor/data fusion, andmachine learning.
Key requirements:

Proficiency inMATLABand/orPythonfor algorithm development and simulation Degree or PhD in a technical discipline such asAerospace Engineering,Control Engineering,Mathematics, orPhysicsExperience in one or more of:Autonomous decision-makingand control systemsNavigation,estimation, ortrackingalgorithms (e.g. Kalman filtering, SLAM)AI/ML, including real-time implementation and model validationVerification & validationof complex algorithms in mission-critical systems
