Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Full-Time | Permanent | 37 hours per week

Are you an experienced Aerospace professional with a passion for developing future talent? We are looking for a dedicated Aerospace Trainer/Assessor to join our dynamic Engineering team at a leading Birmingham-based college.

About the Role

As an Aerospace Trainer/Assessor, you'll play a vital role in supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey. You'll work closely with both learners and employers, conducting workplace visits, monitoring progress, and delivering high-quality assessments and reviews.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to share their industry expertise while enjoying flexibility in their working hours and the option to work from home when not onsite.

Key Responsibilities

Visit apprentices in the workplace across the region
Deliver high-quality assessments and progress reviews
Track learner achievements and maintain accurate records
Support apprentices in developing the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the Aerospace sector
Build strong relationships with employers and support their involvement in the learning processEssential Criteria

Level 3 qualification in Engineering (or higher)
Assessor's Award (e.g., TAQA, A1)
Teaching qualifications (Ideal but not essential)
Previous experience assessing apprentices in a workplace setting
Hands-on experience in the Aerospace sector
