Position: Supplier Quality Representative

Location: London (Rochford), UK

Duration: Minimum 6 months

Frequency: Full-time 

Responsibilities:

Main responsibilities:

Lead, assess & investigate supplier quality issues Lead, plan & execute high complex & cross-functional projects & initiatives Lead & participate to quality reviews, PMRs & governances with 2nd level of management (Directors) Identify improvement opportunities, team efficiency, capability among the team & other stakeholders. Define Corrective action & improvement plan with the suppliers Propose innovative solutions and elaborate optimum solution for complex issues & manage the deployment of the solution. Perform a risk analysis for complex solutions. Elaborate & recommend a strategy on how the decision shall be communicate. Perform data analysis & generate KPI on supplier’s quality performance Manage RNC / VRNC Q & tasks that required MRB approval Provide technical support & coaching on quality tools to the team members & stakeholders Act as a mentor & participate to define the strategic plans of the department

Other responsibilities (if required):

Plan & Perform FAI review Invoke & Perform source inspection Review & approve quality forms (ex: dropship)

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years experience in aerospace Minimum of 7 years experience in Quality Extensive experience in problem solving and root cause analysis Experience using the problem solving methodologies and tools: 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, etc. A Six Sigma Green or Black belt will be considered an asset Commodity experience with Completions (Interior components such as seats including leather and finishing) General knowledge of Aerospace Quality Systems and International Standards Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products. A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required. The ability to read blue prints, check dimensional properties of parts or raw material to ensure compliance to manufacturing drawings/blueprints and specifications including knowledge of GD&T. Experience with First Article Inspections (AS9102) will be considered an asset Knowledge of Net Inspect and Discus will be considered an asset Knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures with regards to inspection including proficiency in the use and interpretation of CMM, comparator, micrometers, thread gauges and calipers Expert (role model) that can work with no supervision.
