Inspection of Aerospace forgings for the main OEM’s

Visual inspection with some Forgings requiring manual dimensional assessment using all common manual measurement equipment.

Job Description:

Customer is seeking skilled individuals to support visual and dimensional measurement of Forgings efforts at their facility. Daily inspection of Forgings. Resource will be checking for conformity to customer specifications, acting as a quality gate. Further orientation will be performed onsite.

Duration:

3 to 6 months

Frequency:

Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30, although there can be additional hours and also flexibility.

Skill Requirements:

Visual inspection, Interpretation of inspection criteria, Route card compliance Validation / interpretation of dimensional report results Clear decision making ability to make pass / fail decisions against documented inspection criteria At least 3 years’ experience using dimensional inspection equipment Hands on experience with GD&T per ANSI Y 14.5 Must be able to interpret Blue Prints and drawings Familiarity with Quality and Manufacturing processes Preferably an inspection background in receiving, in-process inspection knowledge of FAI reports Boeing, Airbus, Spirit, Collins, Meggitt, Rolls Royce and some Defence Platforms. Must be UK Citizen
