Are you an Accounts Assistant with experience working within an Engineering business, looking for an exciting new opportunity to work for an industry leading company that offer great flexibility and training opportunities to develop your career?

On offer is a brilliant opportunity where you will become a fundamental asset to the business. You will be supporting the Financial Controller with day to day operations of the business, where you'll maintain accurate electronic records and invoice attachments, support with the preparation of VAT returns as well as prepare monthly payroll adjustment worksheet for overtime, leave etc.

This Company have been established for over 20 years and have opened a new facility in Sheffield . They are nationally recognised for the specialist work they do within the Aerospace, Defence and Renewable Energy industries. With the quality of their work they have created a strong reputation for designing and building complete process solutions to the highest quality, providing customers with great efficiency.

This role would suit an Accounts Assistant looking to take the next step and join a well-established company where you'll receive all the training to excel your career and work alongside the Financial Controller.

The Role:

Process and log new customer purchase orders in line with company policy
Raise and issue invoices as instructed by Project Managers
Reconcile supplier statements monthly and prepare weekly payment runs
Review and log staff expense claims to ensure policy compliance
Record changes for starters, leavers and salary amendments
Carry out additional finance-related duties as required by the businessThe Person:

AAT Level 4 qualified
Experience in an Engineering environment or similar
Experience using SAGE or QuickBooks software
