An opportunity has arisen to join our Sales team as an Account Manager on a permanent basis, to support our Electronics Team based in Cottenham, Cambridge.

The Role: 

To manage assigned customer accounts to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction is met.

Achieve and exceed agreed objectives and commercial KPI’s.

Responsible for securing and exceeding agreed sales order intake targets, revenue, and profit levels across designated accounts.

Proactively conduct business development activities with your customers ensuring Cosworth is considered for the supply of electronics solutions.

Working as a team to help deliver the Commercial Strategy for Cosworth Electronics and ensure it meets business objectives.

Be the example of best practice in our high performance commercial team, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and managing a business pipeline to exceed budgeted revenue.

Ensure robust commercial processes and plans are in place and followed; championing the use of our CRM system by all.

Work with other departments to review and enhance the commercial and technical offering.

Report and communicate performance to the commercial team.

Consider the health and safety, environmental and energy impact of all activities.

Support the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practice.
Candidate Profile: 

A strong commercial background involving direct sales, business development, contract negotiation and demonstrable experience in delivering exceptional account management.

A goal-orientated individual who thinks creatively to achieve their objectives.

A passionate, enthusiastic individual who is an effective networker.

Outstanding communication skills, capable of delivering technical messages clearly at all levels.

Demonstrates consistency and integrity in decision making and dealing with people.

Ability to lead by example, enable effective team and personal development.

Passion to deliver commercial success, enjoys spending time with customers and developing new business.

Previous experience in a commercial role within either Motorsport, Automotive, Aviation or Marine sectors would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience of electronic control systems would also be an advantage but is not essential
