System Modelling Engineer

Job Title: Systems Modelling Specialist
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + benefits
Location: Aberdeen
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client in the energy technology sector for a Systems Modelling Specialist. The role focuses on performance modelling and simulation of advanced telemetry systems, supporting both R&D and operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct signal performance modelling (COMSOL, MATLAB, Python).
  
• Improve modelling techniques for greater real-world accuracy.
  
• Produce reports and present modelling outcomes.
  
• Work with planning teams to design and deliver solutions.
  Skills & Experience:
  
• Degree in engineering, physics, or related subject.
  
• Experience in multi-physics modelling (COMSOL preferred).
  
• Strong MATLAB, Python, and Excel skills.
  
• Knowledge of electrical theory.
  
• (Desirable) Energy sector or well construction knowledge.
