Our client, a forward-thinking engineering business at the forefront of electric propulsion innovation, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector (Electrical) to support their expanding quality function. Operating from a brand-new, high-tech facility, this role focuses on the inspection and verification of electrical and electronic components used in high-voltage applications for the automotive, motorsport, and aerospace sectors.
The Quality Inspector (Electrical) will:

  • Perform incoming inspection of PCBs, cable assemblies, and other EE components, ensuring conformance to specifications
  • Carry out visual checks, multimeter measurements, Megger insulation testing, and other relevant electrical tests
  • Handle sensitive components following ESD protocols and safety procedures
  • Interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and industry standards to verify part accuracy
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain full traceability of inspected parts
  • Support the resolution of non-conformances in collaboration with engineering and supply chain teams
    The Quality Inspector (Electrical) will have:
  • Apprenticeship, vocational training, or equivalent experience in EE inspection or manufacturing.
  • 3+ years in a quality role within automotive, aerospace, or electronics sectors.
  • Confident using multimeters, insulation testers, and other HV testing equipment.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and inspection standards.
  • Experience & understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and inspection plans.
  • Experience of PCB inspecting & handling.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
