Our client, a global leader in aerospace innovation, is seeking a Qualification Engineer to support the development and qualification of advanced safety-critical technologies across both commercial and defence aviation sectors. Role Overview – Qualification Engineer

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll play a central role in the verification, qualification, and certification of complex aerospace systems. You will work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams, engage with customers, and contribute to delivering the next generation of aircraft systems to the highest standards of performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities – Qualification Engineer

Execute system-level verification including system tests, qualification tests, and flight tests
Prepare and maintain detailed qualification plans, procedures, and reports
Support system certification and customer approval processes
Adhere to rigorous configuration control and change management protocols
Contribute to task estimation, risk assessments, and project planning
Provide clear and timely communication with customers and stakeholders
Work cross-functionally with engineering teams and internal departments globally
Liaise with external partners and sub-contractors as needed
Key Experience & Qualifications – Qualification Engineer

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and decision-making abilities
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather, evaluate, and present complex data
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Background in the aerospace sector

Experience conducting Environmental and EMC qualification testing
Familiarity with DO-160G and/or equivalent military testing standards
