About the Role:

As aProduction Planner, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth production operations by effectively managing schedules, resources, and materials. Working closely with Projects, Project Manufacturing Engineers, Production and Supply Chain teams, you will drive delivery of Build to stock and Build to Project demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, set up and implement new planning processes and systems.

  • Create and maintain production schedules to meet Project demands.

  • Create and maintain production schedules for maintaining stock levels of products.

  • Work with ERP systems to track and manage production workflows.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Monitor inventory levels and plan materials to minimise waste.

  • Track production costs and work with operations teams to create cost saving measures.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity.

  • Completion of daily and monthly reporting.

  • Manage KPI’s for schedule delivery reports.

About You:

  • Experience in aProduction Planner role or similar.

  • Previous experience setting up systems and processes for planning activities including ERP.

  • Proficiency with ERP systems is essential. Ideally SAP or SAP S/4HANA.

  • You will have good organisational and interpersonal skills and be able to take the initiative to ensure goals are met.

  • Knowledge and understanding of common manufacturing techniques and processes and how they fit with creating a robust planning function.

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office suite (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Teams).

  • Excellent communication and the ability to work in an agile environment.

  • Production, Planning or Manufacturing Engineering background in electronics environment an advantage.
