I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a PED Attribute Engineer engineer to join their team on a long term rolling contract

40 hours per week/ Inside IR35/ Salary: £27.21 per hour umbrella inside IR35

Position:

Our Client is looking for a junior engineer to add to our dynamic and growing team, with specific focus on ICE, MHEV and PHEV programmes.
The successful candidate will work on the continuous development and yearly updates of our lineup of vehicles with combustion engines, supporting the Lead Engineers in the delivery of Propulsion Efficiency.
The successful candidate should be someone with good data analysis and reporting skills, able to read and understand Automotive Regulations as required, with the ability to learn and adapt fast, operating under fluid and tight deadlines, to support the timely delivery of Fuel Economy and Hybrid Range properties for a wide range of markets and products.

Skills

Must understand the physics behind vehicle efficiency, cycle energy demand, PHEV electric range, by academic knowledge or direct work experience.
Must have significant working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Must have knowledge of requirements and standards reading, interpreting and writing, experience is desirable
Education; 1st degree in Automotive Engineering or equivalent
Driving Licence
Location - UK, Gaydon - must be able to sort out own travel
