Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Immediate Start Available
Working hours: Mon-Thu: 07:30-16:00, Fri: 07:30-13:30. Days only, no shifts, no weekends.

Day-to-day of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer role:

Maintain building facilities and equipment, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Adhere to and promote strict health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Conduct weekly fire alarm and fire exit checks.
Oversee routine site maintenance and asset management.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
Source components, fixtures and fittings as needed.
Schedule and manage external inspections and subcontractors.
Maintain inventories of consumables.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

Proven experience in a site maintenance engineering role.
Strong mechanical skills and good electrical knowledge.
18th Edition certification is desirable.
Additional skills in welding and a forklift licence are advantageous.
Comfortable working at heights.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively as part of a team.
PC literate.
