A well-established Aerospace manufacturing customer of ours are seeking a skilled Welder to join their high-performing team. The organisation specialises in the production of pipe and tube assemblies, ducts, manifolds, fabrications, sub-assemblies, sheet and machined components, and specialist fasteners. Supporting both civil and military aerospace sectors, the company serves OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers with a range of services, including polishing and non-destructive testing for both airframe and engine applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual welding of metal pipes, tubing, and components.
Set up and calibrate welding equipment to match required program specifications.
Carry out orbital welding processes on metal pipes and tubing.
Prepare tubes for welding, including ultrasonic cleaning and manual/automatic cutting.
Requirements:

Recognised qualification in welding.
Strong organisational skills, with experience in Continuous Improvement initiatives preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
Proficient in analysing and applying data to support quality and efficiency improvements.
Self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-quality aerospace environment.
Prior experience in the aerospace industry is desirable.
