About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Proposal Engineer to join our global aircraft modifications team. This role involves developing customer aircraft modification proposals, primarily focusing on cabin electrical systems, in-flight entertainment (IFE), connectivity, and avionics. You will collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Program Management, Sales, and Contracts teams, supporting project delivery with technical documentation, cost, and schedule estimates.
This is a fast-paced role requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Review customer requests for proposals (RFPs) and assist in bid/no-bid decisions based on capability and business strategy.

Support the development of modification requirements and statements of work.

Research and develop bills of materials using internal systems and customer data.

Identify risks and mitigation strategies, establishing assumptions and limitations.

Collaborate with departments to confirm task hours and compile proposal estimates.

Support tracking of active RFPs and handover meetings to Program Management and customers.
