With almost 1000 equipment installations across 50 countries, this is a truly talented and global company, the Controls Engineer will specify, implement, programme and commission control system hardware and software for a company's range of handling equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • The design and development of control systems for new and existing products and processes.

  • To configure, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other control components to meet customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure control systems are integrated with other subsystems.

  • Conduct testing and verification to ensure control systems meet performance and safety requirements.

  • The development and maintenance of documentation, including specifications, schematics, and operating manuals.

    Experience required:

  • HND or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of control theory, control algorithms, and feedback systems.

  • Experience with PLC programming and HMI design. Ideally using Siemens TIA Portal or Rockwell Studio 5000
