CNC Milller/Turner Setter/Operator

Location: Poole

Salary: £16.80 – £17.80 per hour (plus 1/5 night shift enhancement)

Shifts Available: Days or Nights

A well-established precision engineering company in Poole is seeking fully skilled CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operators to join their team. If you have solid CNC experience and are confident working to aerospace standards, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Set and operate CNC Mill/Turn lathes with FANUC controls
Produce components to detailed customer drawings and tight tolerances
Self-inspect work to meet drawing and SPC requirements
Maintain a high standard of engineering quality and 5C/5S housekeeping practices
Requirements:

Completed a recognised apprenticeship in mechanical engineering (or equivalent experience)
Fully competent in CNC Mill/Turn operations
Strong experience with FANUC control systems
Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feeds is advantageous but not essential
Aerospace industry experience is highly desirable
