CNC Miller – Setter/Programmer

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Join a leading aerospace precision engineering company known for its high-quality, bespoke components and innovative solutions. Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Miller – Setter/Programmer to join their team, delivering unique and challenging projects in a high-precision, low-volume environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work independently on Mazak, Hurco, and Haas CNC milling machines.
  • Interpret technical engineering drawings to develop and implement effective machining strategies.
  • Devise and implement workholding solutions tailored for bespoke components.
  • Set, prove out, and operate CNC mills, ensuring precision aerospace components are produced accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges and ensure all work meets tight tolerances and high-quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a CNC Miller in a high-precision, low-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in working from complex technical drawings with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with Mazatrol, Hurco, Fanuc, and Haas control systems.
  • Preferred experience in aerospace machining.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach, committed to producing work of the highest quality.
