I am recruiting Skilled/Indentured Skilled CNC Miller to work onsite in Yeovil, Somerset for a 6 month contract initially.

Contract hours: 37 hours per week, day shift.

Pay rates:

£18.99 per hour (Skilled Worker) OR;
£19.54 per hour (indentured Skilled Worker)
Both rates attract holiday pay in addition.

The role will involve CNC Milling of Aerospace Equipment, in accordance with Manufacturing Instructions, Specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements

Main responsibilities:
Machining (Programming, setting & running of 3 axis milling centres)
OCQ - Operator Control of Quality
Ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard to meet delivery requirements
Interpreting Engineering Drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures

Ideal Candidate Profile:
Engineering Apprenticeship (Desirable but not Essential)
Knowledge of machining, specifically CNC Milling
An understanding of CNC Milling within the Aerospace industry
Knowledge of hand measuring equipment, such as Vernier, Micrometer, Thread and Plug Gauges
High standard of Health & Safety
Working in a Customer-focused environment and achieving targets
Working with Designers and Engineers
PC literate

Any further training requirements will be provided:
PC skills (incl. Company Operating Systems), Manual Handling, 5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety

Vetting will include a drug scren & 5 years' referencing.
