Our client, an aerospace component manufacturer based in Basildon are looking to hire a CNC Machinist who can set and operate CNC Turning machinery.

The role is paying up to £36,159 per annum. Overtime is x1.5 your hourly rate.

The hours for the role are Monday to Thursday 7am till 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 12.30pm. This is a 39 hour week.

CNC Machinist duties:-

Set and operate CNC Turning / lathe machines
Produce accurate and high quality parts
Work to tight tolerances and quality check your own work
Clean and maintain machinery
Help with Continual improvements Skills required:-

You must be able to set and operate CNC Turning machines
Have a good eye for detail
Be able to use a variety of measuring equipment
Able to interpret engineering drawingsThis is a permanent position subject to the companies probation period.
