Audio Visual Programmer

Location: Midlands (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £50,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Audio-Visual Programmer to join a growing and well-established AV solutions provider. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility between home working and site-based/project work across the Midlands.

The Role

As an Audio-Visual Programmer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of bespoke AV control systems across a range of commercial and residential environments. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality, reliable AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, write, and maintain AV control code for bespoke systems
Program and commission control systems using AMX, Crestron, and/or Extron
Create intuitive user interfaces tailored to client requirements
Support system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
Provide technical support during project delivery and post-installation where required
Ensure programming standards, documentation, and version control are maintainedRequired Experience & Skills

Proven experience as an AV Programmer
Strong hands-on programming experience with AMX, Crestron, and/or Extron
Ability to develop and write AV control code from scratch
Experience delivering bespoke AV control solutions
Good understanding of AV systems including control, audio, video, and networking
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a wider project teamWhat's on Offer
