Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Packer

Location: Denham, UB9

Note: Due to the remote business location, the ideal candidate must have their own transport. 

Salary: £26,700 - £27,700 basic salary + possible overtime

Working hours: Mon-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Friday 08:00-12:00.

Job Summary

A fantastic opportunity to join a leading engineering firm within the aerospace industry, dedicated to saving lives worldwide. As a Logistics Operative in the Packing Department, you will play a key role in preparing, packing, and labelling products and components for internal transport and dispatch to customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Primary and final packing of parts, components, and products according to customer and technical requirements.

Validating batch numbers, part descriptions, and quantities against the SAP system, reporting discrepancies.

Ensuring appropriate packing materials, clear labelling, and accurate delivery instructions.

Coordinating with the Logistics team and Shipping Clerk for timely dispatch.

Conducting self-inspection and quality checks.

Performing multi-skilled duties in Detail Stores, Raw Material Stores, and Internal Transport.

Accurately picking, packing, and issuing materials and stock.

Receiving and processing goods from external sources.

Internal transportation using forklifts, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lift equipment.

Undertaking raw material store duties such as saw operation.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience in stores and packing within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Structured, methodical approach with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
