About the Role

We’re currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Logistics department. This is a varied and active role where you’ll be involved in everything from picking and packing customer orders to loading transport vehicles and supporting stock takes. You’ll play a key part in helping us deliver a great customer experience.
This is a full time (39.5 hours per week) permanent role working rotating day shifts at our Letchworth Garden City head office. The hours are Week 1: 6am-2pm, Week 2: 2pm - 10pm (earlier finish on the Friday late shift).
Job Opportunity
What you’ll be doing:
- Picking and packing flooring orders to meet deadlines
- Loading and unloading transport vehicles
- Supporting stock takes and maintaining accurate records
- Keeping your work area tidy and safe through 5S processes
- Following operating procedures and health & safety guidelines
- Supporting continuous improvement and contributing ideas
- Working flexibly across different tasks and shifts as needed
Essential Skills
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely and responsibly in a busy environment
- Forklift truck driving experience (or willingness to train)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- PC literate and confident with basic systems
